Jackson's crib broke...

I was so upset on Friday when Charles and I were putting together Jackson's crib. He had been using my old crib from when I was a baby. While we were putting the side on all of the bars fell out! I think they were held in with wood glue and we probably could have bought some from Lowe's or something to try to put it back together, but we couldn't even get all the bars in evenly into the top and bottom rails without the wood glue. I tried for about an hour to get all of the bars in and couldn't do it. So, Jackson stayed in his playpen until Sunday when my mom and I went to Target to price cribs. We found one made by Graco in "espresso" brown. It was beautiful and was just what I had wanted since before Jackson was born! It was really inexpensive so we got it and also purchased the matching changing table. I really want this crib to last and figured we'd use the set again if we had any more kids so it was a good investment to get the matching changing table now, rather than trying to hunt down a similar wash/style changing table later. It is just so beautiful. Seriously, take a look!

His vintage bear theme looks so great with the rich brown color!

Yes, my glider is still white. It will just have to do, maybe we'll get a matching glider when we have another baby.

Jackson is so content in his new crib! (really he's watching his Rainforest lights and sounds thing)
